Post-Processing

When browsing the Internet for photography inspiration, do you ever notice that some photographers seem to have a certain style about their photos? Sometimes they have a vintage feel or maybe high-contrast black and white look. Most "style" is achieved in post-process... or in other words, the editing that takes place after the actual photo shoot.

Sure, a nice DSLR camera can get you great photos from the get go, but great photographers insist on post-processing for perfection of their desired outcome.
I snuck in a few pictures when we were playing in the driveway the other day. It's rather hard to get boys to sit still, but we somehow managed. And by somehow, I might mean cookie bribes. :)  The grandparents have been bugging me for an updated photo so it was necessary!

This is real life, my favorite way to photograph. Sure, a posed picture is necessary here and there (and for the grandparents) BUT real life together is what I want to remember.

Both of my boys enjoy playing with their Daddy's old skateboard. Lucky for me they are pretty careful and only really sit on it or push it. I'm sure that won't last forever though!
